When you purchase a SafeCutters product, you can rest assured that you’re purchasing an effective and well made product. When SafeCutters was first conceived with the goal of providing more safety cutters in the workplace, we stuck to the idea that our products should also always be affordable and well made. That hasn’t changed since our conception, nor will it. In order to provide workers with the right tools, we know they need to be affordable and do their job well. That’s why, when you purchase any of our safety cutter products, you can rest assured that you are making the right choice. All of our products are made from quality materials and provide you with the most bang for your buck. Get to know some of the materials and processes that are used to make many SafeCutter products as you keep reading.

What good is a utility knife or safety cutter if it doesn’t have a blade? Most blades on both our disposable and reusable safety cutters are made from quality steel. This means that no matter how many times you use it, you will always get the most for your money. You have the option of picking disposable safety cutters, so that when the blade wears out, you simple toss the whole product, or you can choose high-quality knives that will allow you to replace the steel blade when it wears out. Steel is the go-to choice because it’s affordable and resilient for all cutting purposes.

Here at SafeCutters, we also offer a variety of ceramic knives and safety cutters. While steel is more commonly used, ceramic blades stay sharper longer. They are worth the investment in order to have a sharp, non-porous material that will truly last. We provide high-quality products from Slice when you need to have a great ceramic blade on-hand.

Plastic Injection Molding

While blades are either made from steel or ceramics, many of the casings and handles for our safety cutter products are made of quality plastics. We provide a wide array of plastics in order for you to get the best products for your needs. Our Klever Kutter is a great example of plastic injection molding at work. This disposable blade’s handle is made by forcing hot plastics into a thin mold. The product is then ejected from the machine. This process allows us to make many Klever Kutters quickly and, most importantly, affordably. On the other end of the spectrum, we also provide reusable products, like the Klever X-Change, which also has an ergonomic handle. The plastic components of this product are made in the same way with injection molding, it’s just a different design with features for comfort.

Die Cast Metal

Some of our other product casings are made of die cast metal. This process is when metal is heated and then forced into a die, or mold. This helps to create accurate and unique shapes perfect for our utility knife products.
